Join us at the Aegean Center for Fine Arts from October 6th-11th, 2025 for this new workshop. Reconnect to your goddesses through art and story on the Greek Island of Paros.

“MYTHOLOGY IS THE HOMELAND OF THE MUSES—THE INSPIRERS OF ART” — JOSEPH CAMPBELL

In the Aegean, where ancient images of dancing women, landscapes in bloom, and mysterious rites abound we find traditions where art reveals cultures that revered the divine feminine. Hundreds of thousands of years have not obscured the energy of these images, and they continue to inspire us to create a more beautiful and harmonious world.

In this course, students develop their creativity by engaging artistically with Aegean Neolithic Goddess cultures. From Crete to Çatalhöyük, these societies understood the power of art to perpetuate values of wellbeing, most especially through goddess imagery. These evocative representations model values much needed in our age, including equitable partnership and the acceptance of death and regeneration. Studying on site the mythology of the Mediterranean we come to a personal understanding of the archetypes and gain new connections and vitality.

I am excited to offer this workshop at the Aegean Center for Fine Arts, with its sixty year legacy of transformative education. Through Myth, humans communicate that which is vital yet often ineffable. At this pivotal moment in our collective evolution, I welcome any student eager to craft a positive origin story for our times, one that is supported by an prolific and imaginative past.

Classes involve both guided and independent art projects, storytelling, lectures, discussions, and outdoor trips. The aim is to inspire students to create art about goddesses and myths by exploring ancient art, stories, symbols, and culture, along with some insights from neurobiology. By the end of the course, you will understand key goddess archetypes, their histories, utilize psychological tools for exploring myths, appreciate your connection to goddess art, and curate a meaningful collection of artwork linked to these themes.

All experience levels are welcome, and students can use any medium they prefer for self-directed sessions. While creating art is key to this course, the goal is to inspire artistic expression rather than teach techniques. Students wanting to learn specific techniques can take traditional art courses at the Aegean Center, which complement this course. Discounts are available for those enrolling in multiple workshops.

WILDERNESS WORKSHOPS

REDISCOVER YOUR NATURAL ABILITY

For many of us, nature is our sanctuary. So, distress about the state of the environment is understandable. But what if we could channel the deep love beneath that suffering into cultivating a mutually healing relationship between ourselves and nature? In these day-long workshops, we reclaim our perception of the natural world as animate, & explore our capacity to connect creatively. You’ll learn concrete skills to support your ongoing & life-affirming relationship with the natural world. Come join us in the beautiful alpine meadows of New Mexico’s Pecos Wilderness for a day of connection, imagination, and creativity.

The Gaialoguing© (Gaia + dialoguing) curriculum is grounded in Keziah’s decade of study & practice with techniques including Jungian Active Imagination, Shamanic Journeying, and Wilderness Ceremonies. While the format and techniques remain consistent, each Gaialoguing© workshop is tailored to fit the needs of a specific time, place, and circle of participants. This program began as a co-creation with the natural world, recognizing the Earth as an equal participant in any endeavor. This mission ripples throughout our gatherings.

THE WORKSHOP

LUNA RANCH — CHACON, NM

Our day begins at 11am, when our intimate group of participants arrives at Luna Ranch, a private property near Chacon, NM. We spend the next five hours immersed in peaceful woods and inspirationally beautiful alpine meadows, embodying the principles of Gaialoguing© — learning to connect with Self & Earth.

The day includes intellectually stimulating discussions, activating the imagination in an embodied way, introspection & sharing, & light-hearted creative/artistic exercises. Together, we discover the beneficial & relevant information available to us when we tap into our relationship with Earth as an equal.

LUMOS CENTER — TAOS, NM

For our collaborations with Lumos Center, our day begins at 10AM in Taos. After a morning of meditation, intuitive bodywork, and introspection, we dive into the Gaialoguing© curriculum, exploring the lush acequia and bosque at Lumos Center.

PARTICIPANTS

Gaialoguing© workshops take place in a remote, high altitude wilderness. Luna Ranch sits at 10 to 11 thousand feet above sea-level and is more than an hour’s drive from the nearest hospital. The ideal candidate for Gaialoguing© workshops is capable of gentle hiking and sitting on the ground, in good health (or successfully managing a condition) & tolerant of high elevation. If you are unsure about your ability to participate in an enjoyable way, consult your doctor. If you have any questions, inquire via the contact page.

Most of all, Gaialoguing© is designed for respectful individuals committed to a positive vision for life with a capacity for openheartedness, playfulness, creativity, and a mutually loving relationship with nature.

By remembering all peoples’ core belonging to each other and Mother Earth, these workshops are designed to heal the spiritual sicknesses which allowed domination of humans over each other and the land. In that spirit, I acknowledge that Luna Ranch is within the traditional territories of the Apache and Comanche Peoples.

To be fully alive is to have an aesthetic perception of life because a major part of the world’s goodness lies in its often unspeakable beauty.
